Container Quality Silica Sand

Container Quality Silica Sand CGS-05 is a high-purity silica sand with over 98.5% SiO₂, providing excellent chemical stability for glass production. Its low iron content (Fe₂O₃ below 600 PPM) helps reduce discoloration, ensuring clear and consistent glass. The sand features a carefully controlled grain size, with more than 80% of particles above 106 microns, supporting uniform melting and consistent processing. With very low TiO₂ (<0.1%) and minimal Na₂O and K₂O (0.01%), CGS-05 enhances the clarity and strength of the final glass product. Maintaining moisture below 5% prevents processing issues, while advanced washing, screening, and magnetic separation ensure high-quality, reliable sand—ideal for container glass manufacturing in beverage, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
